I am in my forties, married with two children, and all of us are neurodiverse individuals.
During my time in school, particularly as a teenager, I faced struggles and was often labeled as the 'naughty child'. I departed from my educational journey without fully realising my potential and felt entirely misunderstood by teachers, friends, and family members.
I have since received diagnoses of ADHD, ASC, OCD, SPD, and PTSD.
Having experienced firsthand the challenges of living as a neurodiverse individual in a neurotypical world, I have dedicated my academic pursuits to obtaining qualifications that allow me to support others and raise awareness that neurodiversity should not be viewed negatively. Having neurodiverse traits can truly be a superpower.
My focus lies in finding the positive aspects within neurodiverse behaviours, working through challenges, and steering clear of a negative outlook. My ultimate goal is to assist neurodiverse individuals in this journey.
Far too frequently, society fixates on the negative aspects, but that is not my approach. I consider myself a solution-driven individual and am determined to help you uncover the positives in your life.
